Wife of Steve Smith and has worked with him since 1984. Katina has worked in the motor trade since leaving school (a long while ago now) and has a wide knowledge and understanding of vehicles, she now spends less time doing reception work, hence handing that over to Emma as the accounts side of two business takes up all her time, although the boys know when ‘boss lady’ does turn up she means business.

Meet Rob – the man who can hear a funny engine noise once and somehow knows exactly what’s wrong. Husband to Emma & Son-in-law to Steve & Katina, Rob is the driving force behind the day-to-day running of our Erith branch. A fully qualified Motor Technician, Mot Tester, Mot Manager & vehicle diagnostic specialist, he’s the one we all turn to when a car (or occasionally a colleague) needs fixing. Before joining the Apollo Autos family over 19 years ago, Rob spent 16 years as a Senior Technician with a Ford Main dealer giving him around 35 years of hands-on experience in the motor trade. From complex engine management systems and auto electrics to those mysterious faults that make everyone else scratch their heads, Rob loves a challenge and usually has the answer before the diagnostic machine does. Customers know him for his honesty, patience and no-nonsense approach, while his team knows him as the guy who’s always happy to help and never afraid to tackle the jobs everyone else avoids. If there’s a problem, Rob will find it. If he can’t….it’s probably not broken!

Daughter of Steve & Katina Smith and Rob’s wife, Emma has been part of the Apollo Autos family for as long as anyone can remember. She took over reception from her mum Katina over 25 years ago and has never looked back. With decades of experience in the motor trade, Emma knows cars almost as well as the technicians do! From booking your MOT or Service to explaining those mysterious dashboard warning lights in plain English, she’s always happy to help. As Office Manager, Emma is the friendly face and calming voice that keeps the whole place running smoothly. She’s the queen of organisation, the master of multitasking and the one who somehow manages to keep a workshop full of technicians in line (which if you know tech’s is no small achievement!) Whether you’re a first-time customer or have been visiting for years, Emma will make sure you’re looked after with a smile, honest advice and maybe the odd bit of friendly banter. If Apollo Autos is the engine, Emma is definitely the oil that keeps everything running smoothly!

He is our principal MOT Tester and been MOT testing for over 20 years and been with us for the last 13 years now. Paul is here to give your vehicle a comprehensive inspection to DVSA guidelines to ensure it is in roadworthy condition and he goes above and beyond expectations.

Joe joined Apollo Autos in 2018 as an apprentice and has since qualified as a Vehicle Technician after completing his studies at North West Kent College. Known for his positive attitude and cheerful personality, Joe is always smiling, singing and bringing great energy to the workshop. He takes immense pride in his work, is dependable, hardworking and a pleasure to work with, Joe has become a valued member of the team. It has been fantastic to see his growth and development over the years and we look forward to seeing his career continue to flourish.

Having been with Apollo Autos since 2023, Noah completed his apprenticeship with us after completing his studies at Bromley College and has quickly become a valued member of the team. His eagerness to learn, strong work ethic and positive attitude have made him a great asset to the business. He takes pride in delivering high-quality work and has built excellent relationships with customers thanks to his friendly and professional approach. We are excited to see his skills continue to  develop and look forward to supporting his growth and career with Apollo for many years to come.
